And even the brides who are more comfortable with traditional poses Jones photographs in a more unique way, employing special lighting, camera angles and lenses “to make them look not like everybody’s wedding photos do.”
“I think that’s the main driving force behind all this stuff: A lot of Gen X-ers and Gen Y-ers, they all want to be seen as an individual, as different from everybody else,” Jones says. “So they don’t want to have their pictures look like everybody else’s.”
